Jennifer, what you did to my nice piano yesterday was positively inhuman. I have to let you know. What it tells me is that you are a sorceress, a magician, an angel! This piano, since I’ve had it, has never sounded–or FELT–like this. It’s a transfiguration (Verklarung ohne Tod). I came home last evening from a horrible day at the office just to eat and get to sleep. This morning, as we do last-minute packing to leave for MN, I sat down for 10 minutes to try out the piano. And, truly, it is as though you had moved a different one into the old case. I cannot be more specific under these time constrictions, so that will have to wait till we return in a week. But my initial reaction is astonishment, in the happiest sense. Thank you.
