From a very early age, Jennifer has been playing the piano. Her musical ear and attention to detail have served her well in the field of piano technology, allowing her to maintain high standards. Nothing is more satisfying to her than helping a piano reach its full potential.
Jennifer has been working on pianos for over 20 years. She received her formal training at Steinway & Sons on 57th St. in New York City. She had many great teachers while at Steinway Hall, including one very notable man, Franz Mohr, who was the personal technician for the late, great Vladimir Horowitz
After completing the apprenticeship program, her accomplishment was marked by an appointment to tune the piano on stage at Carnegie Hall. She went on to be the technician for the prestigious Steinway “Selection Room” for two years; many highly particular artists would come to work with her in the selection of the right piano for their needs.
Jennifer tunes only by ear. As Steinway pianos are 90% handmade, an electronic tuning will never bring out the best in the instrument. She applies this same individualized approach to every piano she tunes.
